Delhi government launches ‘Jeevan Seva App’ for transportation of Corona patients, facility to be available 24 hours

The ‘Jeevan Seva App’ can be downloaded from the link and QR code sent via SMS to the infected person in Delhi.

new Delhi. The Health Minister of Delhi, Satyendra Jain has launched the Jeevan Seva app for safe and timely movement of corona patients to health facilities and hospitals. It has been launched in collaboration with the EVERA cab service. The Health Minister of Delhi stated that, the Jeevan Seva App will enhance the efficiency in emergency movement services in Delhi by enabling more availability of ambulances to serve serious requests on time.

Through this app, patients will also be informed about the pick-up time and they will also be able to contact the driver to reduce the worry about the availability of their ambulance.

>> Citizens will also get the facility of e-vehicles with this app, which provide free pick and drop services. >> These electric vehicles as ambulances for less serious patients to move to health care facilities within the city will be used.

>> Every vehicle will be thoroughly transition free after every round.
>> It will provide hassle free transportation for free movement of hospitals and corona virus centers.
>> This entire process will be completely digital as patients will be able to contact the drivers through the app. It will also provide a touch free convenient drive facility to the patients.

How will the Jeevan Seva app work?
Patients will be able to download this app through a link. It will be sent via SMS or QR code.
The availability of real-time GPS tracking will make monitoring of this app very easy.
The drivers of these vehicles will also be trained and will comply with safety guidelines such as, besides wearing PPE kits, they will also keep sanitizers with them at all times.

Service will be available 24 hours
Through this app, an infected person will be able to avail the service of e-vehicle which will be free. The statement said that the patient can register the cab through the OTP and book the cab from the app. This service will be available 24 hours. According to the health department, trained drivers will follow the new safety guidelines from Kovid 19 such as wearing PPE kits and keeping sanitizers etc. Their cabin will also be separate.
