‘The grassroots mobilization of our people is over’
Talking to news agency ANI, Azad said, ‘We are concerned about all the losses, especially in Bihar and the bypolls results.’ He said, ‘I do not consider leadership responsible for the defeat. Our people have lost connectivity at the ground level. He said ‘you must love the party’.

Not only this, Azad also questioned the behavior of party leaders. He said, ‘Elections are not won by 5 star culture’. He said, ‘The problem with today’s leaders is that if they get a ticket from the party, they book a 5 star hotel first. If the road is bad then they do not go anywhere. Azad said, ‘Unless 5 star culture is abolished, no one can win the election.’

Internal dispute increased after Bihar election

The Congress had a major failure in the Bihar elections and by-elections in several states of the country. Since then, many big names of the party had registered their displeasure. During a TV interview, Kapil Sibal said that since Rahul Gandhi has announced that he is not interested in becoming the party chief, the Congress has not had a president for the past year and a half. He said ‘how a party will work for one and a half years without a leader. Congress workers do not know where to go. Apart from this, P Chidambaram also criticized the poor organizational strength of the party.

Salman Khurshid responded to Sibal
Salman Khurshid said that who will decide that the interim president’s stay in the party for a year is a long time. Khurshid stressed that if the election process of the new president is taking time, then there may be a good reason behind it. He said ‘no one has gone away, all are here. Only insisting on label. Why are you insisting on the label? He told that ‘Bahujan Samaj Party has no president, there is no chairman in the left parties, only the general secretary. Not all parties can run on one model. Khurshid said that the party has Sonia Gandhi in the interim, which is not something outside the Constitution.
