Manohar Lal Khattar has managed to live up to the BJP’s trust in Haryana. Khattar became an MLA for the first time and also the Chief Minister of the state for the first time. In the beginning it was said that Manohar Lal Khattar does not have the experience of governance. But Manohar Lal Khattar proved his hold on the administration and said that he specializes in politics as well as rule.

This election will be the test of Chief Minister’s call for Khattar
Manohar Lal Khattar has passed the first political examination but the 2019 assembly election will be his real fire test as it will be a test for his Chief Minister and his political abilities will also be tested. However, this challenge will not be difficult for Khattar who comes from RSS background. As a Sangh pracharak and then leader, Khattar has been expert in strengthening and managing the organization. It was only after meeting the test of the Sangh that Khattar got a chance to climb the stairs of power.

Manohar Lal Khattar also received the fruits of the service of the Sangh that the face from which people were unknown till the 2014 assembly elections, the same face won the election for the first time and also crowned the post of Chief Minister.

A shop was opened in Delhi’s Sadar Bazar

Khattar belongs to the Khatri caste. She is basically Punjabi. Khattar was born on 5 May 1954 in Nidana village of Maham tehsil of Rohtak district. In fact, after the partition, his family had left Pakistan and settled in Bidana village in Rohtak district. Khattar did his schooling in Rohtak. After passing 10th, he came to Delhi from Rohtak. He graduated from Delhi University. After this, he opened a shop in Sadar Bazar. It was a period of emergency. During that time Khattar came in contact with RSS.

Became member of RSS at the age of 24
In 1977, at the age of 24, Khattar took membership of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. At the age of 27, he became a RSS pracharak. He continued campaigning for the Sangh for 14 years. In 1994, Khattar joined the BJP. BJP made Khattar the general secretary of Haryana. Till 2014, he remained the post of state general secretary of Haryana. Apart from the Chief Minister of Haryana, he is also a member of the National Executive Committee of the BJP.

Dedicated life in the promotion of the Union
Manohar Lal Khattar is unmarried. He devoted his life to the promotion of the Sangh. He met PM Narendra Modi only during the era of RSS pracharak. Modi was then in charge of Haryana BJP. The intimacy and mutual trust of both is also a big reason that Manohar Lal Khattar got the chance to become the Chief Minister. PM Modi also started his ambitious campaign, Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao in Haryana, due to the decreasing ratio of daughters to sons in Haryana.

Khattar is the first non-Jat CM of Haryana
Haryana got a non-Jat chief minister for the first time as Khattar. Khattar became the first BJP leader to be sworn in as the CM of Haryana on 26 October 2014. However, many questions were raised about the law and order on the Khattar administration. After the arrest of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Singh Ram Rahim, the heat of Panchkula violence came on the Khattar government. Similarly, the violence and arson of the state during the Gurjar reservation also came on the Khattar government.
