Laila Majnu’s tomb is in a small village Bijnor, 11 km from Anupgarh in Sri Ganga Nagar district of Rajasthan. This village is on the border of India Pakistan. According to the locals, Laila and Majnu (Kais (Majnu’s real name)) ran away from home to spend their life together in Rajasthan. But he died due to lack of water in the desert. When Laila’s family came to know about this, they built a mausoleum in memory of both of them in Binjore.

The sign of love is so famous that even today, couples who truly love each other come to the tomb to pray for their love and marital life. In the name of this couple, a fair and a langar are held in the month of June every year. In which people are offered free food offerings.

Apart from this, there are many things that are worth seeing here. The archeology department has found some remains associated with the Harappan civilization at Baror near Bijnor, which showed that there used to be a factory here in earlier times.
